The vaginal health focus is towards the use of low molecular weight carbohydrates (especially mannans) to help: Promote a healthy intimate microflora; Prevent infections; Promote healing; Prevent odour.

One key focus of carbohydrate based formulations is their use as prophylactics to prevent vaginal infection (e.g. Candida albicans). Another focus is towards using during/after infection to promote healthy re-colonisation of the vagina (and thus prevent infection/reinfection).
