Energy and Blood Glucose Control
The focus is towards the development of systems which regulate nutrient/drug absorption and thus control the rate and amount absorbed. The release of energy from foods and drinks is an important focus with a new digestion control ingredient (GLY208) to complement the existing blood glucose/hypoglycaemia materials developed. Cholesterol and lipid absorption control by carbohydrates is also of interest.
